International Conference “Environmental impact of military conflicts”

  The conference will take place in Baku and will be hosted by the Institute of Radiation Problems. The Institute is located near the “Elmler Akademiyasi” metro station (green line). However, on the first day, the opening ceremony will be held in Grand Hotel Europe (Tbilisi ave 22). Subsequent conference sessions will continue in the Institute of Radiation Problems. On September 12, a thematic tour to Karabakh will be organized.

  The Grand Hotel Europe is ideally situated within minutes of all the major business and government offices of the capital. The hotel is situated overlooking Baku and the Caspian Sea. Baku, the capital and economic center of Azerbaijan, is situated on the coast of the Caspian Sea. The fortress wall surrounds the Old City, where the former royal residence of the Shirvanshah’s Palace and the famous Maiden Tower are located.
